Yesterday I had some fun with Modge Podge. I'm getting a little obsessed with ideas on how to use it in crafts. An old college friend came to visit recently with her kiddos and I hit upon an idea for her daughter's birthday; photo collage letters she can either hang or display on a shelf. I started with chipboard letters from Hob Lob, $2 each.
And grabbed my collection of photos - her mom was so good about sending me lots of photos of her when she was a baby...so I had pics up until age 5 or so...
Was it hard to cut up these treasured photos? Yes and no - they are all duplicates and believe me, I have about 1000 more! Plus, I have some of her brother - he may get his initials, too!
She was the cutest little cutie patootie. Still is!
Always smiling and so full of personality.
I added a light dusting of some pearly glitter while the MP was still damp
I hope she won't find these too corny! I'm going to add some hangers on the back, so she can display them however she likes. I hope they find a sentimental place in her heart this birthday!
Happy Birthday, Laura!
