Here is my "baby" before his first ever band concert:
He's a fledgling trombone player, and having a great time in Band. They played "Fanfare and March", "Good King Wenselas", and "Chant for Percussion". Mind you, he's the baby, so his parents have heard this Christmas Band program 3 times before. But it's amazing every time, as the sounds we heard coming from the horn a couple months back cannot be described as music...and I can't believe how big he is getting and how much he has grown since the end of 5th grade.
As my neighbor would say, "Who gave you permission to grow up? Stop it!".
