We did it!

Hooray for us - we got The Girl to the right place, at the right time, with the right stuff...
There wasn't time for teary good-byes, nor time to try to review all we've taught her in almost 19 years.  We will let Life take it the rest of the way.  Hard to let go, but it would be harder to hang on. And pointless, too.  Adulthood is calling...nothing gold can stay...

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
