At what age do most kids think it's uncool to have lunch with mom?
Lucky for me, Scout likes to meet me for lunch - maybe because we eat at places he wouldn't normally get to visit during the school day - like La Salsa, for one. But maybe, also, because it's still OK to be seen in public with me! I am so not ready for him to decide I am un-cool. It's so nice just getting a little one-on-one time with him. We like the same foods and always have good conversations about school, scouts, band. And he has a great sense of humor and tells me funny things. It's nice to hang out with this kid, so I'm going to try to do that as long as I can!
