What the week holds, and prepping myself

This week has all the potential to be a booger and I am going to resist the negative bias of my brain and instead, look for ways to move through it gracefully with more positivity.  On the schedule are:
*mowing, edging, trimming of shrubs, cleaning up the patio area
*a dental appointment
*Two physical therapy appointments
*on-call hours
*a mammogram
*a Drop-In concert
*extra hours at work, followed by
*a full weekend shift
Somewhere in there I also want to add a mani/pedi, reading and puzzle time, and walking - full on self-care.  And of course I will feed myself well, hydrate, and get good sleep. I've got my planner filled out and I'm ready to go!
How do you tackle those full weeks without feeling the burn?

You do have a very full week ahead. In the past I’ve tackled them by focusing only on what I have to do in the morning, afternoon and evening thus breaking it into smaller lists. Along with that deciding what really can’t be postponed, rescheduled or someone else asked to help with or done to a lesser degree. Take care as you go through a tough week.

Hugs. I know those somber anniversaries and hope you find some calm and peace that day.

Wow, that does sound like a full week. I just had a dental check up today... I had a new hygienist but gosh hours later and my mouth is still sore. That never happens but she looked so nervous I didn't want to criticize her! LOL.

Thinking of you this week, Gina. I say definitely make time for that mani/ pedi and all your other self care plans. 💕

I have to answer: "I don't!" I always feel the burn when I have too much to do. I pretty much keep my eye on when this week is over for relief. That's even when the week is full of fun things! Good on you for making sure to schedule in self care.

That is a lot! When I have a full week, I try to take it day by day and keep a to-do list because I don’t want to forget anything, and also because I love to check each item off! I hope you have a good week, even though there’s a lot going on!
