Stopping by Goodwill last week on a whim, here's what I found:
The jar is destined to hold Bubbie's marbles as a bookend - for 99 cents, I consider it a bargain!
I think these carved wood thingies are supposed to be trivets. I'm going to use them as wall plaques. Don't know yet if I will paint them - it might detract from the detail. Again, 99 cents each.
But the thing I was most excited about was:
This lamp for $3. The base is beautiful glazed pottery.
I think it will be perfect for the boy's room.

Great finds!! That lamp is wonderful! :) p.s.-I have to hurry when thrifting to. Mostly because I still carry my daughter in a backpack thing and my back gets tired! Oh, and it's HOT!
ReplyDeleteFun finds...love it!
ReplyDeleteVery nice finds. I appreciate the natural colors and variations in wood and try not to paint over things unless I need a very dramatic look, or they are too dinged and scratched to bear.
ReplyDeleteGina I love everything...it is awesome those trivets! The lamp is very unique too. Thanks for joining in on the party..you had some good stuff to share today! Have a great weekend. Debbie
