Sausage and Bean Crock

When my mother worked in Saudi Arabia many years ago, she made "Friday Soup" each week.  It was a compilation of the leftover meat and veggies from the week added to broth - a smart way to use up leftovers.  My bean crock is kinda like that, different every time. Last night I sauteed up some sliced  Elgin sausage to render the grease a little:
Then I dumped drained, canned pinto and kidney beans, canned tomatoes, the rest of the sliced tomatoes and green onions from Saturday (yes, they were still good), some chopped garlic, and the rest of the BBQ sauce bottles in the fridge. I seasoned it with a little Lowry's and some Worchestershire.
I added in my sausage, set the crock on low, and here's what we had for din-din:
I vary the kind of beans and veggies, depending on what I have.  Sometimes I use bell pepper and yellow onion.  Sometimes chick peas.  Sometimes I don't have sausage and I use leftover Sloppy Joe or taco meat.  They eat it up every time! Shhh...don't tell Bubbie it has onions and garlic in it -  just about everything I make does!
